Raphaël Grisey and Baba Touré share a temporary version of their in progress film , 'Crossing voices - Xaraasi Xanne'. Thanks to rare cinematic, photographic and sound archives, this project traces the emblematic adventure of Somankidi Coura, an agricultural cooperative created in Mali in 1977 by West African workers living in France, inside homes for migrant workers.
The projection is followed by Raphael Grisey, Bouba Touré & Kaddu Yaraax's 'Xeex Bi Du Jeex - A Luta Continua' (2018, 70 '), resulting from a workshop realized in 2018 by Bouba Touré on the permacultures and archives of Somankidi Coura.
Both films are produced by Specter Production. The realization of 'Crossing voices - Xaraasi Xanne' was supported by the Contour 9 Biennale, which presented it on 19 October 2019.
