Founded in Taiwan in 2014, Walking Grass Agriculture (WGA) has been exhibiting and curating exhibitions under its current name since 2015. The collective uses the term ‘agriculture’ not just for its technical implications, but rather to explore the values they have inherited from their families, whose backgrounds are deeply rooted in farming traditions. WGA believes that agriculture is a balance between nature and culture; it responds to seasons, the heavens and the earth underneath, time and space, and rhythms of life. They believe all of these realms where art can act.
